Superstar Rajinikanth Gets Grand Welcome In Malaysia

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth took Malaysia by storm as soon as he reached the airport as fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor. Rajinikanth who reached Kuala Lumpur airport few days ago was welcomed by a swarm of fans who were waiting right at the airport to click some selfies with the star. Not only his fans, but also Malaysian government officials were more than eager to meet and greet with Thalaivar who will be shooting for his film ‘Kabali’ for over a month in Malaysia.

Rajinikanth was apparently welcomed by Malacca state Governor Mohd Khalil bin Yaakob and was invited for a special lunch at his place. The actor was accompanied by Kabali’s producer KS Thanu for the grand feast at the Governor’s place where many other political figures of the country gathered around to catch a glimpse of Rajinikanth. Definitely a huge welcome for an Indian actor who has a strong fan base globally.

It was revealed quite earlier that director of the film, Ranjith had visited many foreign locations to finalize the shooting locations. Ranjith had been spending quite some time abroad recently to take a look at the locations for shooting as per which Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong had been shortlisted for the film’s foreign locations. Rest of the shoot will be finished in Chennai and overall the schedule has been fixed for span of four months.

Rajinikanth will be seen playing a double role in ‘Kabali’ and the new posters of the film see the actor in a handsome lean avatar. The actor will be seen as a Malaysian cop as well as an underworld don in the film. The amazingly talented superstar has shared screen space with many Bollywood beauties and the list is now increasing with ‘Kabali’. The film ‘Kabali’ will feature elegant actress Radhika Apte opposite Thalaivar. It will definitely be interesting to see what the duo offers the audience. The crew of the film forms of cinematographer G.
