Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have moved on in their personal lives, far beyond their bitter break up but the media world seems to be still stuck in the gone by era. While there is no link between the two, be it in films or personal lives, certain media people don’t seem to think so! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Jazbaa movie opened pretty decently at the Box Office and was expected to pick up over the next few days. Turns out Salman Khan launching his Bigg Boss Nau reality show has affected the movie business immensely. The night shows are barely getting any audience since people are preferring to watch Salman Khan host the show on weekends.
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra’s ex-manager Prakash Jaju is the one who is making these claims of Salman affecting the movie business. He says that the Box Office witnessed a total loss of Rs 4 crore on Sunday.
He tweeted, “#BiggBoss9 ne kul acchi vaat lagaayi night shows main collections ki … Thanks a lot @BeingSalmanKhan.. Khud ki film Eid par late & doosron ki films ko sharaadh main bhi business nahi karne dete ho @BeingSalmanKhan …Loss to hindi films yday because of #BiggBoss9 is apprx. 4 Cr @BeingSalmanKhan …” Well, Jaju taking on Salman Khan? Is this a good decision on his part? Let’s wait and watch!
