Many B-town actresses are in the race to star opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming biographical sports drama ‘Sultan‘, there is one more addition to this list now.
According to the latest reports television actress Mrunal Thakur known for portraying the character of Bulbul in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ has been approached to play one of the two actresses in ‘Sultan‘.
There are rumors that Mrunal will quit her Television serial soon for this flick. Actresses likeParineeti Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Kriti Sanon are in the race to grab the female lead of ‘Sultan‘.
Though the first schedule of ‘Sultan‘ is wrapped up, the casting of female lead is not finalized, which will be done soon. According to the latest buzz Mrunal was approached for ‘Dangal‘ before ‘Sultan’, though Thakur preferred to stay silent about this thing.
‘Sultan‘ is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release in Eid 2016. The film will clash with SRK starrer ‘Raees‘.
