Harshalee Malhotra and Kabir Khan bag first awards for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’

The director-child artist duo won laurels for Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the recently concluded ITA Awards

Bajrangi Bhaijaan released and was a runaway hit. But more than Salman Khan, the film brought immense recognition and laurels for the film’s child artist Harshalee Malhotra who became a household name. The young kid who played Munni in the film also bagged her first award at the recently held Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards. Not just that, even Kabir Khan bagged his first award for BB.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has zoomed into the Rs 300 crore club, thanks to its brilliant story line and marvellous performances and at the ITA Awards, it won all the accolades. While Kabir Khan was awarded the Best Director trophy, Harshalee was presented the Best child Artist award.

Kabir took to Twitter to talk about the victory.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan released on July 17 and has already raked in over Rs 320 crore at the box office and recently crossed the Rs 600 mark worldwide. Considered to be Salman’s finest performance in recent times, we wonder if our Bhaijaan too will walk away with all the glory at the awards season next year.
